This is a piece of work from during my first year of my FdA, it was from a brief set to promote a cocktail drink. The idea was that it would be an ambient piece and have strong illustration links with the feel of fluidity, I think it worked well however the at the time my knowledge in illustrator was limited and i was not totally comfortable in working with it. I think that if i was this could have further enhanced the outcome. I was trying to achieve a hot foil stamp outcome, but due to budget i had to use the foil through silkscreen printing. I think i was still in a very 'experimental' phase and just needed to refine the image slightly.
