Jenny Hart has a very textile based approach to illustration using embroidery as her means of creating an image. Jenny's work has appeared in publications such as Spin, Nylon, Rolling Stone, Venus, The Face, Bust and Juxtapoz.
This approach to image making could be something that I might be able to apply to my own work. I have in the past used a sewing machine as a design tool and it was actually quite fun and expressive.
