Mark - At first I was quite keen to use a sans serif typeface with a bold contemporary appearance, however through discussion and experimentation this changed. We toyed with the idea of using a triangle in the logo to signify the number 3, 3 sides / 3 designers. We changed our mind.
Will - I like Mark's logo concepts especially the bottom right two, which have merging colours, this makes me think merging styles from different designers and illustrators. Again Mark has used triangles as a basis for many of his logos and I think they work well and should be developed further in different aspects of Just Us. I especially like the rounded triangles, because if each side represents one of us, then a rounded edge makes us seem more joined and connected than a blunt edge which seems as if we hit and don't fully merge into each other.
Simon - One of the key things i like about Marks concepts is the subtle colours, the choices feel very soft, and when we works this into any prevoius logo work I feel it will help to create a stronger image. The idea about the three sides is one that is noce but maybe not as practical and a big constrant when selecting symbols/shapes.
