This promotional poster was created as part of a live brief that tied into my self initiated study last year. The idea was to create a poster that would act as a nice image that can be kept and hung on a wall, and a catalogue of current t shirts available from withered clothing's online shop.
I created the image on the front by screenprinting an illustration I made onto a canvas that was printed a variety of colours.
The image on the back was created by first taking a photograph of each garment and taking it to the computer where I created a suitable layout, This was then printed, cutout then stuck onto grey paper. I then scanned this onto the computer. The whole process created a more hand crafted feel to it which was the intention and part of the ethos of the clothing brand.
It was one of my strongest pieces from the project and the whole process was far more creative and fun than just making it digitally. However it was quite a lengthly procedure and if I was under a strict time schedule this process may not be suitable.
