This series of Puffin Classic books, was a contemporary twist on these classics, the entire book was designed, made, and art directed by myself. I spent months on the production of these as a used all hand rendered methods, mainly screen printing and various processes within that medium. I learnt that i needed to give myself more time when using materials that i was not totally familiar with. The process of book binding was a big learning curve and the order in which everything had to be designed and produced was a learning curve to. I ended up in producing a flock, white on white design on the front cover and then screen printed in four colours on the back. From these books there was also an accompanying promotional poster.
