After we were given quite a bit of criticism over our first concept we were also given some constructive advice on what to look at and where to take our ideas. We thought further about why they chose our concept and we believe it was because we are a multi disciplinary group studying all over the UK and not just in one place.
This idea developed into something that involved a collaboration between all exhibitors and we thought it would be a good idea to put on an exhibition that would showcase a series of these collaborations all created by members of just us.
However strong or weak the idea was I feel that we felt slightly pressured in coming up with a 'life changing' concept and rushed into this one a bit. This showed in the final proposal and they didnt like it. We were told to think of something else and suggested we think about our own interests / beliefs and try and come up with a concept that puts them across.
