These badges were created as part of my self initiated design brief. The intention was to not only design them but sell them in the withered clothing online shop.
The process of creating the badges was to design the badge, then place it in a template to be printed. I sourced the badges from an online company called Awesome Badges who printed and sent me the finished product. The package that you see in the image above was created by hand. The material that the badges have been attached to is the material used on canvases which I cut to shape and sewed to a label. The paper I used for the label was called "Curious Wet Touch Alaska 200 gsm"
This was an outcome to my project that I didnt plan, so was almost a bonus to my finished folder of work. I gained inspiration for the work on a book which focused on badge making: Badge / Button / Pin. I would hope that I could bring this attention to detail when making products for our design collective.
