Felice Varini

Felice Varini is a Swiss artist known for his geometric perspective-localized paintings of rooms and other spaces, using projector-stencil techniques. Felice paints on architectural and urban spaces, such as buildings, walls and streets. The paintings are characterized by one vantage point from which the viewer can see the complete painting while from other view points the viewer will see ‘broken’ fragmented shapes.

I think that Ferlice Varini's work is absolutely amazing and so good to look at, it would be really good if we were able to use Varini's idea of perspective and one single vantage point in some of our work because it is so outstanding. We have talked as a collective of producing large scale work which would be seen by lots of people and I think by looking closer at Varini's work we will be able to think of something really good.
