Philippe Apeloig's attempts to preserve the elemtns of type and their meanings that have a tendency to become forgotten have resulted in some great typographic work.
As a design element the typography on posters etc is vital, it is something that i would like to introduce into my work more but maybe with a very contemapry and unique twist. I could do this by breaking down the typography to its most simple forms, this may result in just lines and points. I may then introduce shapes to effect the type, it is just an idea of how i could develop my type and introduce it into my work.
