Simon - These logos I felt worked as a good start point for our collective and although we didn't develop far, they have cropped back up in some of our design projects in 3d form. The idea with all of the logo work was to create a identity of networking. The idea of mapping has come back around in our design direction using the thread and pins to map out our journey as a collective.
Mark - Simon's use of colour and shape here is very interesting. He has utilised the idea of 3 designers being a part of the collective and taken that into consideration whilst designing his concepts for logos. one of the logo concepts mimics the needle and thread thing we did for the craft fair.
Will - I really like Simon's logo concepts especially the one with three dots linked with a thin line. I think this represents us well. and I can imagine adding a dot with each new person who joins the collective. I think this idea should be developed else where perhaps the possibility of having some sort of mapping like this could be used in our web design. I like the feel of Simon's logos although we havent used them for the collective they are good visuals which could be used on other projects. I also enjoy the use of colour, three colours representing each of us.
