Mark -I think if we were to use a more contemporary approach some of Will's designs here would have been perfect, the top row being my favourites. The trangle thing was something we decided against but can maybe take into another project.
Will - Obviously I am going to like my Logo concepts and obviously I would like to use one of them for our logo. Each person would, but we decided on creating our own concepts so that we could then bring them all together and create something that is widely accepted between us and our audience. I experimented with triangles, as we disused they would be a good shape to represent our collective three side three founders. I like the three concepts at the bottom right the most, I like the spaced out type and where the words are linked with serifs. I also quite like the three geometric squares made of three components representing the three of us and perhaps the different sides to us and our work.
Simon - I think these are a good example of how Will has refined some of our early design concepts and turned them into strong graphic elements. The use of the traingle would have been a ageless design however we needed something that did not symbolise anything at all so started to look at typefaces.
